Why a system
Every piece of audio gear is a compromise made alone. A system built from pieces designed together can make different compromises: the amplifier knows the speaker’s impedance curve, the DSP presets know the speaker’s measured behaviour near walls, and the wiring arrives pre-cut and pre-labelled.
How the pieces combine
- Tikpal Stream One provides the source: files, NAS, radio, AirPlay.
- Tikpal Amp One carries the load and hosts the DSP presets for the chosen speakers.
- Tikpal Reference pair (or Tikpal Near / Tikpal Deep) renders the sound, voiced against exactly this amplifier.
Presets, not guesswork
When the system ships, each speaker model will carry placement presets — desk, near-wall, free-standing — prepared from lab measurements and loaded through Tikpal Amp One. The presets are documented in the Audio Lab like everything else we tune.
Buying the system
The system will be offered as a bundle once all three pieces are available. The complete system remains in development. Individual components will become available progressively, allowing you to build toward the full system piece by piece.
